Body found outside of East Prairie

EAST PRAIRIE -- Police are searching for the identity of a body discovered by four-wheeler riders Saturday along a ditch bank near East Prairie.

Mississippi County Coroner Terry A. Parker said the victim's death is believed to be an execution-style killing. The body, which is believed to be a Hispanic male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, was found by a group of four-wheeler riders about 3 p.m. Saturday on Mississippi County Road 430. Parker said the victim had a gunshot wound to the head, to the mid-line area in the back of the neck and one to the groin area.

The victim also has black hair cut in a short "buzz" style and was wearing blue jeans, white socks and maroon/checked shirt. He has tattoo markings/

initials on his right arm that read S.B.G.
