SIKESTON - Beverly A. Neubert, 80, died at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 10, 2007, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born Dec. 13, 1926, in St. Louis, daughter of the late John Frank and Emma Mary Haas Good, she was a 1947 graduate of the St. John's Mercy Hospital Nursing Program. She then worked as a registered nurse for St. Anthony's Hospital and St. John's Mercy Hospital, both in St. Louis, wherre she participated in many bowling leagues. She also did private duty nursing. A member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, she was an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary and did volunteer church work.
On Sept. 29, 1950, in St. Louis, she married August William Neubert who preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1984.
One sister, Antoinette Cobb also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one sister, Vera "Vee" Gragert of Sikeston; one niece, Joan Cobb of Gilbert, Ariz.; one nephew, John Cobb of St. Louis; and two cousins, Ethyl Berry and Fred Good of St. Louis.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. conducted by Monsignor Richard Rolwing, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Church. The Rev. Scott Sunnenberg, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Church, will officiate.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in St. Louis with the Rev. John Mayer of St. Louis officiating.
