Jerry Pirtle Jr.

SHERMAN, Texas - Jerry Wayne Pirtle Jr., 41, died Feb. 10, 2006, at work in Sherman.

Born Jan. 30, 1965, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., son of Jerry Wayne Pirtle Sr. of Randles, Mo., and Sharon Hanks of Cordova, Tenn., he was a self-employed contractor and roofer.

In addition to his parents, other survivors include: his stepmother, Shirley Pirtle of Randles; one son, Joshua Pirtle of Springfield, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Leslie Cross of Benton, Mo.; two brothers, Rodney Davis of Oran, Mo., and Mark Pirtle of Randles; two sisters, Nancy Trentham of Cordova and Glenda Thomas of Randles; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-

Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Rick McNeely will officiate.

Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery in Perkins, Mo.
