DEXTER - Pansy P. Jones, 94, died Aug. 26, 2005, at the Southern Healthcare Facility in Dexter.

Born Oct. 3, 1910, in Aid, daughter of the late Thomas P. and Roxie Rittenberry Davis, she had lived in Aid as a young woman and later in Oregon and East St. Louis, Ill. In 1965 she moved to Dexter where she lived until moving to the Gideon Care Center. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Bloomfield.

On April 6, 1956, she married Edward Allen "Al" Jones who preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 1992.

Several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death.

Surviving are: one sister, Norma Woodiel of Dexter; a special niece and caregiver, Francis Berry of Malden; and many other nieces and nephews including John and Steve Underwood of Bloomfield.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Cleo Payne of Gideon and the Rev. Roger Wooten of Dexter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Harper Cemetery at Aid.
