CATRON - Ralph W. Borton, 48, died Aug. 25, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 20, 1957, in Placercille, Calif., son of the late Ralph I. and Thelma Davis Borton, he was employed at Noranda, was a member of the CB's in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the New Madrid Eagles Aerie No. 4206. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and archery.
On April 29, 1988 in Portland, Ore., he married Ella Beth Clark who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife include: his stepmother, Martha Borton of Hillsboro, Ore.; three daughters, Hilary E. Borton of the home and Sara B. Borton and Rachel M. Borton of Portland, Ore.; four sons, Elias T. Borton and Hunter R. Borton of the home and Bud W. Borton and Jacob M. Borton of Portland; and two sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where a memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Joe McCullough Sr. officiating.
The body will be cremated and the ashes spread at a later date.
