DEXTER -- A 7-year-old from Sikeston died of injuries sustained in a two-

vehicle accident Saturday near Dexter. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 10:58 a.m. on Highway 25, half a mile south of Dexter, an accident occurred as motorist Crystal D. Phillips, 24, of Bernie made a left-hand turn into the path of the vehicle driven by Lyle D. Davis, 38, of Sikeston.

Davis' passenger, Kylie M. Davis, 6, of Sikeston was taken by air ambulance to Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, where she was pronounced dead at 12:06 p.m. Davis and his other passenger, Sierra L. Davis, 12, of Sikeston received moderate injuries and were taken by ambulance to Missouri Southern Healthcare.

Phillips' passenger, Michael S. Phillips, 26, of Dexter sustained moderate injuries. Her other passengers, Breanna M. Phillips, 3, of Bernie and Michael D. Phillips, 5, of Bernie received minor injuries. They were taken to Missouri Southern Healthcare.

On Sunday, a Cape Girardeau resident was killed in a one-vehicle accident near Oran. The Patrol reports at 2:40 p.m. on Scott County Road 411, about two miles south of Oran, an accident occurred as motorist Victor E. Isaacs, 61, of Cape Girardeau veered his vehicle off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and overturned on the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:45 p.m. by Scott County Coroner Scott Amick. Isaacs' two passengers, William M. Grogan, 33, and Christian M. Grogan, 28, both of Sikeston, sustained serious injuries and were taken by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
