MURPHYSBORO, Ill. - Lola Mae Wisely, 92, died at 9:28 a.m. Jan. 9, 2006, at the Rehab and Care Center of Jackson County in Murphysboro. Born Nov. 12, 1913, in Union County, Ill., the daughter of the late Dennis and Ora Pierce White, she became a member of the Elm Street Baptist Church on July 6, 1941, and was a retired cook at Lincoln School in Murphysboro...

MURPHYSBORO, Ill. - Lola Mae Wisely, 92, died at 9:28 a.m. Jan. 9, 2006, at the Rehab and Care Center of Jackson County in Murphysboro.

Born Nov. 12, 1913, in Union County, Ill., the daughter of the late Dennis and Ora Pierce White, she became a member of the Elm Street Baptist Church on July 6, 1941, and was a retired cook at Lincoln School in Murphysboro.

On Oct. 30, 1931, in Murphysboro, she married Milo A. Wisely, who preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1972.

Also. three brothers, Lowell, John and Ernest White preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Russ Hill of Sikeston, Mo., one son and daughter-in-law Milo Jr. and Betty Wisely of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Herman and Ralph White, both of Murphysboro; and five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-

grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Crawshaw Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. Wednesday until time for services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Elm Street Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Allen, pastor of the Elm Street Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Murphysboro.
