NEW MADRID -- Both New Madrid County Central Middle School teams continued their unbeaten streaks Tuesday with impressive wins over Caruthersville. The 7th grade team won 34-0 while the 8th grade Eagles shutout the Tigers by a score of 36-0. NEW MADRID -- Both New Madrid County Central Middle School teams continued their unbeaten streaks Tuesday with impressive wins over Caruthersville. The 7th grade team won 34-0 while the 8th grade Eagles shutout the Tigers by a score of 36-0.

In the 7th Grade game, G'Darius Stevenson took a handoff on the first play from scrimmage and ran 70 yards to pay dirt. Carlandas Thornton converted the two point conversion. Stevenson later had TD runs of 15 and 11 yards. Keith Holmes had a rugged 43-yard touchdown run, while Lance Chamberlain powered in for a 2 yard plunge. The 7th grade team moved to 3-0 on the year.

The 8th grade team continued its dominance and string of shutouts that began in their 7th grade year. The balanced attack was highlighted by a 35-

yard touchdown pass from Dontre' Jenkins to Kony Ealy. Rodney Anderson had a solid night with a 7-yard TD run and a kickoff return of 75 yards to open the second half as well as an extra point conversion.

Lennies McFerren had a touchdown runs of 29 and 19 yards. D'Marcus Williamson had a conversion for two points. The 8th grade Eagles moved to 3-0 and have outscored their opponents 122-0 in these contests.
