Rushing finishes seventh in Cape Central Invitational

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Matt Rushing was the leading finisher for Sikeston at the Cape Central Invitational.

Matt finished 7th out of 60 runners in a time of 19.25 over the 3.1 mile course.

Also finishing for Sikeston in the same race was Jordan Roberts who finished 36th.

In the freshmen girls race Katie Bloemer finished 12th and Eryn Pritchard finished 15th.

And in the junior high race Jacob Alsup finished 22nd. Sikeston's next meet is the Notre Dame Invitational Saturday, Oct. 1.
