Hills takes first place at SIkeston Drag Strip

SIKESTON - Here are the results from Saturday's Sikeston Drag Strip action.

In the Super Pro class, Linden Hills took first place when he ran 5.00 on a 5.005 dial at 134 mph with a .503 reaction time. Cecil Whitaker took second place when he ran 5.00 on a 5.005 dial at 137 mph with a .490 reaction time.

In the Pro class, Bear Nichols dialed 6.691 and ran 6.65 at 94 mph with a .511 reaction time. Tony Jacques ran 6.35 on a 6.356 dial at 105 mph with a .620 reaction time to take second place.

In the E.T. class, Blake Jones took first place with a 9.45 run on a 9.468 dial at 71 mph with a .568 reaction time. Roy Tims took second place when he ran 6.83 on a 6.862 dial at 99 mph with a .570 reaction time.

In the JR Drag class, Taylor Bowman ran 7.55 on a 7.58 dial at 87 mph with a .534 reaction time. Cheyenne Bittle took second place with a 7.74 run on 7.765 dial at 82 mph with a .358 reaction time.

In the Trophy class, Rob Thompson took first place when he ran 11.26 on an 11.302 dial at 60 mph and a reaction time of .506. Jerome Overstreet took second place with a 9.95 run on a 9.988 dial at 70 mph and a .560 reaction time.
