EAST PRAIRIE - Clyde Richard Wallace, 77, died at 3 a.m. Nov. 20, 2007, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Born June 26, 1930, in Hickman, Ky., to the late Charles F. Wallace Sr. and Golda Mae Duncan Wallace, he lived most of his life in East Prairie.

On Oct. 18, 1951, in Clay County, Ark., he married Wyvon Marks Wallace, who survives of the home.

Surviving in addition to his wife are: one son and daughter-in-law, Clyde Richard and Bonnie Wallace Jr. of East Prairie; five brothers, Charles, Jimmy and Ronnie Wallace of East Prairie, Bill Wallace of Ripley, Miss., and Carl Wallace of Blytheville, Ark.; two sisters, Ruth Marcum and Peggy Tinnin of East Prairie; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Linda Faye Wallace James, preceded him in death.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday. Martin Lucas will officiate.

Burial will be in the East Prairie Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kem, Steve and Ronnie Marks, Cody Childers, Jesse Olin and Gordon Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard and Chris Wallace and Scottie Owens.
