Patricia Owens

CHARLESTON -- Patricia Ann Owens, 29, died Sept. 17, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Sept. 18, 1975, in Charleston, to Larry G. and Lillie B. Owens Smith of Charleston, she was a 1994 graduate of Charleston High School and a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church in Charleston.

In addition to her parents, survivors include: three sons, Demetreon, Trayvon and Demetric Owens of Charleston; one daughter, Demeisha Owens of Charleston; three sisters, Fae Owens, Renee Smith and Linda Smith of Charleston; two brothers, Larry Smith and Daniel Straughter of Charleston; her maternal grandparents, Kathrine and Edgar Owens of Charleston; and her paternal grandfather, Joe Smith of Charleston.

Friends may call from noon Friday until time for services at 2 p.m. at St. Matthews Baptist Church in Charleston with the Rev. James Ratliff, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Williams Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
