WINFIELD - Nellie Mae Carr, 84, formerly of Sikeston, died at 11 p.m. Nov. 15, 2005, at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy.
Born Jan. 18, 1921, to the late Thomas and Dolly Kitrel McElreath, she attended Calvary Assembly of God Church in Winfield, and while residing in Sikeston, she attended the First Assembly of God Church.
On May 31, 1947, in St. Louis, she married Geral T. Carr, who preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1996.
One brother, Clarence McElreath; and one sister, Novella Wilburn, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Tom Carr and fiance, Anita Shoults of Granite City, Ill., Roger and Linda Carr of Napa, Calif., and Jerry and Carolyn Carr of Eminence; two daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Quentin Walsh of El Dorado Springs and Nancy and Bill Brammer of Winfield; one sister, Anita Grogan of Morley; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-
grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, near Winfield.
Visitation will also be held from noon Saturday until time of services at 2 p.m. in the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Lloyd, pastor of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Winfield, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
