CHAFFEE - Tuesday night at Chaffee, the Sikeston basketball team won their third pre-holiday game when they defeated Chaffee 26-14. Center Bill Arnold again led the Sikeston offense, scoring nine points.

SIKESTON - Twelve winners were chosen in the home Christmas lighting and yard decorations contest sponsored by the Lions Club. The winners were chosen in four categories with three winners in each.

SIKESTON - Fifth grade students at Southwest Elementary School annually share their Christmas spirit with residents of a local nursing home. This year the students collected items for residents at Shuffit's Nursing Home. The presents were presented Friday by the students and their principal, Ron Greenlee. Accepting the presents for the nursing home were Anna Lou Fodge, social director, and Mary Hays, activity director.

SIKESTON - Construction on the newest addition to Missouri Delta Medical Center is on target with a scheduled completion date of August 1996. The 44,000-square-foot addition will contain the O'Bannon Family Care Center, the new obstetrics unit. The second and third floor additions have a total construction cost of $4.2 million.

SIKESTON - In celebration of Norwood Fashion's anniversary, the store conducted a drawing to give away three $25 gift certificates. Winners were Marble Edwards, Connie Harper and Louise Meunier.

SIKESTON - Factory Outlet Stores Manager, Lisa Neumeyer, presented Mike Foster with a $25 gift certificate for winning the Scott County Central P.R.A.I.S.E. drawing.
