SIKESTON -- Marilyn Wilson, 48, died Dec. 8, 2005, from injuries sustained in a automobile accident on Interstate 57 near Charleston.
Born March 17, 1957, in Steele, daughter of the late Early and Louvenia Jackson Williams, she was a graduate of South Pemiscot High School and a member of the House of Prayer Church of God in Christ in Parma where she was an usher and member of the choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Wilson, and one son, Michael D. Wilson, who died Dec. 8 in the same accident.
Survivors include: three sons, Carl Williams of Jackson, George White of Malden and Percy White of Sikeston; two daughters, Vera "Tina" Turner and Melanie White of Sikeston; three brothers, Marvin Williams of Malden, Bernard Williams of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Early Williams of St. Louis; five sisters, Jayne Walls of Owensboro, Ky., Dorothy Williams of St. Louis, and Joyce Williams, Henrietta Johnson and Ariena Foote of Sikeston; and 22 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon Monday at the Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston until time for services at 1 p.m. with Ronnie Pulley officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston with Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
