PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Lorene (Loraine) Hornback Daniel, 75, formerly of Sikeston, died Jan. 12, 2006, in Palm Springs. Born Jan. 13, 1930, in Diehlstadt, Mo., to the late Norvel and Vida Hornback, she was a graduate of Sikeston High School and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Sikeston. PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Lorene (Loraine) Hornback Daniel, 75, formerly of Sikeston, died Jan. 12, 2006, in Palm Springs.

Born Jan. 13, 1930, in Diehlstadt, Mo., to the late Norvel and Vida Hornback, she was a graduate of Sikeston High School and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Sikeston. She was an ordained minister for 50 years and founder and president of Apple of His Eyes Ministry.

She was united in marriage to Danny Daniel, who preceded her in death.

One brother, G.S. Hornback also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons, Bill Daniel and Gary Daniel, both of Atlanta, Ga. and Bob Daniel of Mission VJ, Calif.; one sister, Louise Matthews of Gamaliel, Ark.; and six grandchildren.

Memorial services were conducted Saturday at Ramon Chapel, Forest Lawn in Cathedral City, Calif.
