SIKESTON - Clyde Alexander Davidson, 75, died Dec. 5, 2007, at Miner Nursing Center in Sikeston.
Born Sept. 22, 1932, in Oakland, Tenn., son of the late Odis Alexander and Lizzie Everlyn Stines Davidson, he worked for Bridger Construction and Trailer Express before retiring.
In 1959, he married Barbara Sue Stanley. They have three children, Randy and Dorothy Davidson, Ronnie and Bobbie Jo Davidson and Nancy and Lewis May all of Sikeston.
On Aug. 6, 1982, he married Sandra Kay Wheelis. They have one son, Justin A. Davidson of Sikeston.
Other survivors include: a niece whom he raised, Sandy Williford of Dexter; one brother, Howard "Bud" Davidson of Hollister, Calif.; one sister, Mary McCoy of North Branch, Mich.; and 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Edgar Davidson, Walter Davidson and Franklin Davidson; and one sister, Inez McWhirter.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday.
Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery at Advance.
