CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Eula "Sweetpea" Mitchell, 87, formerly of LaForge, died Nov. 30, 2005, at her daughter's home in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan 23, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Maudie Gay Faulkner.
She was married to Louis Mitchell, who preceded her in death Nov. 26, 1985.
Survivors include: two daughters, Becky Speight of Cape Girardeau and Pat Weaks of New Madrid; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a special friend, Eddie Rains of Cape Girardeau.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in New Madrid with the Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
