KANSAS CITY - Christopher B. Rucker, 43, formerly of Sikeston, died Oct. 22, 2005, in Kansas City.
Born Oct. 16, 1962, in Sikeston, son of Helen Rucker of Sikeston and the late Norman Rucker, he graduated in 1981 from Sikeston Senior High School and moved to Kansas City and attended The DeVry Institute of Technology. He graduated in 1985 from DeVry and worked in the electronic operations section of the Federal Government Treasury Financial Management Services for 20 years.
In addition to his mother, survivors include: four brothers and sisters-in-law, Wade and Ileasher Rucker of Sikeston, General and Sandra Rucker of Houston, Texas, Gregory and Emma Rucker of Radcliff, Ky., and Stanley and Fakia Rucker of Kansas City; and three sisters, Evelyn Rucker of Westland, Mich., Brenda Rucker of Sikeston and Sonia Rucker of Ithaca, N.Y.
In addition to his father, one sister, Norma Jean Rucker, preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
