CHARLESTON - Lois Jean Bryant, 55, died Oct. 23, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Oct. 6, 1950, in Mount Bayou, Miss., daughter of Johnny Bryant of Senatobia, Miss., and the late Marcilla Watts, she had lived in Missouri since 1964.
In addition to her father, she is survived by: 11 brothers, Larry Daniel of Chicago, Ill., Samuel Bryant of Detroit, Mich., John Eddie Bryant and Herman Bryant of Houston, Texas, Jessie Clyde Watts of Kansas City, Kan., Errin Glenn Johnson, Ned Curtis Johnson and Norris Johnson of Charleston, Shedrick Johnson of Pinhook, and Malcolm Johnson and Aubrey Bryant of Damascus, Md.; seven sisters, Carolyn Thomas and Felicia Bryant of Houston, Texas, Linda Burkhalter of Toledo, Ohio, Jackie Gillespie of Flint, Mich., Wanda Johnson and Toni Watts of Charleston and Karen Clayburn of Senatobia.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one sister, Johnnie Mae Wrice.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. until time of services at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Grand Avenue Seven Day Adventist Church in Charleston. Eugene Horton will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.
