Dougherty - Green

ST. LOUIS -- Jennifer Elizabeth Dougherty and Jeremy Lee Green were united in marriage during a 5 p.m. ceremony Aug. 13, 2005, at Southside Hills Assembly of God Church in St. Louis. The Rev. Robert Poley officiated.

Parents of the bride are Kevin and Nancy Dougherty of Fenton, and the bridegroom is the son of Rick and Lois Green of Sikeston.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Megan Dougherty of Fenton served her sister as maid of honor, and Shannon Graves of Herculaneum, friend of the bride, was a bridesmaid.

Flower girls were Cassidy Joiner of High Ridge, cousin of the bride, and Analiese Arredondo of Sikeston, niece of the bridegroom.

Michael Maschmeyer of Springfield served his friend as best man. Jeremy Clark of Sikeston was a groomsman.

Candle lighters were Matthew Dougherty and Daniel Dougherty of Fenton, brothers of the bride.

A reception followed in the church fellowship hall.

A 2001 graduate of McCleur High School, the new Mrs. Green is attending St. Louis Community College at Florrisant Valley and is employed by Barnes and Noble. Green graduated in 2000 from Sikeston Senior High School and in 2002 from ITT Technical Institute in Arnold. He is employed by the National Corn Growers Association in Chesterfield.

Following a wedding trip to Chicago, the couple are making their home in Fenton.
