SIKESTON -- Ilah Belle Hays Vines, 90, died Dec. 2, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Sept. 29, 1915, in Hartman, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Edna Brotherton and James Hays.
On April 15, 1943, in Vanduser, she married Samuel Francis Vines who preceded her in death in 1983.
Survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jim and Bobbie Vines and Joey Vines of Sikeston and John and Nancy Vines of Dexter; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janie and Danny McPherson and Jeannie and Randy Box of Sikeston; two brothers, Robert Hays and Everett Hays of Sikeston; one sister, Georgia Davidson of Sikeston; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Ponder Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Larry Davis, pastor of Trinity Gospel Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Robin Wiggins, Marty Vines, Jimmy McPherson, Matt Baker, Johnny Vines, Andrew Box and Carl Lambert.
