DALLAS - Velva Orene Robisky, 90, formerly of Dexter, Mo., died April 22, 2006, at the Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas.

Born March 12, 1916, in Bernie, Mo., daughter of the late Richard H. and Effie Adeline Jerls McCamish, she was a cosmetologist and owned and operated a beauty shop in Dexter for many years. In 1978, she moved to Cedar Hills, Texas, where she lived for many years and was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church. She returned to Dexter and later moved to Dallas.

On July 2, 1932, in Dexter, she married Claud Otis Jarrell who preceded her in death on June 24, 1988. On July 4, 1976, in Dexter, she married Tommy Robisky who preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 1995.

Also preceding her in death were two sons, one in infancy and J.R. Jarrell; one brother, James Richard McCamish; and two sisters, Melba Thurston and Mayola Gibson.

Survivors include: one daughter, Marjorie Thrower of Dallas; two sisters, Evelyn Robinson of Jackson, Mo., and Martha Duffie-Reynolds of Bernie; and several grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Michael Kohlbaker of Dexter will officiate.

Burial will follow in Sadler's Cemetery in Dexter.
