ST. LOUIS - Leon "Lee" Sanford, 93, died April 21, 2006, at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan. 4, 1913, in Kennett, daughter of the late Daniel W. and Eva Hearn Sanford, she moved to Cape Girardeau a few months ago and lived in St. Louis for many years where she worked at Libson's Specialty Shop. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: one niece, Debra Williamson of Cape Girardeau; and one great-nephew, Josh Williamson of Essex.
In addition to her parents, two sisters, Inez Sanford and Daphna Bruening,preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter. The Rev. John Adams of Dexter will officiate.
Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
