Essner-Hussman
BENTON -- Sara Michelle Essner and Nicholas John Hussman were united in marriage during a June 9, 2007, ceremony at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton. The Revs. Normand Varone and Oscar Lukefahr performed the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Stanley and Shirely Essner of Benton and John and Janice Hussman of House Springs.
Providing music for the occasion were organist Angela Klueppel of Benton and vocalists James Simmons of Benton and Kari Bickings of Oran.
Matrons of honor were Tanya Schneider of Cape Girardeau and Pamela Dannenmueller of Scott City, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Jarvis of St. Louis; Alicia Aubuchon of Cape Girardeau; Ashley Hussman of St. Louis, sister-in-law of the bridegroom; Cara Scherer of Springfield; Janelle Essner of Columbia, cousin of the bride; Jessica Muckerman of St. Louis; Kristina Dorward of Columbia; and Jessica Thompson of Atlanta, cousin of the bride.
The bridegroom chose his twin brother, Joseph Hussman of St. Louis as his best man. Groomsmen were John Hussman of St. Louis, brother of the bridegroom; Michael Hussman of St. Louis, brother of the bridegroom; Steven Musial of St. Louis; Alex Guerrero of St. Louis; Kyle Williams of Cape Girardeau; John Bohnert of St. Louis; Jacob Muckerman of Cape Girardeau; James Essner of Columbia, brother of the bride; and Michael Walleman of St. Louis.
Junior bride was Madison Enderle, niece of the bride and daughter of Tanya Schneider. Miniature bride was Katelyn Dannenmueller, niece of the bride and and daughter of Ryan and Pamela Dannenmueller.
Kayla Essner and Michelle Essner, cousins of the bride, attended the guest book.
A reception was held at St. Denis Parish Hall.
A rehearsal dinner hosted by the bridegroom's parents was held at Molly's in Cape Girardeau.
The new Mrs. Hussman is a 2003 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School and received a degree in dietetics from Southeast Missouri State University. She is pursuing a master's degree at Southeast and working at Ward Title Insurance Company in Cape Girardeau.
Hussman is a 2000 graduate of St. Francis Borgia High School in St. Louis. He received a degree in sports management and business administration from Southeast in 2005. He is employed at Kelly Elementary School and Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department.
Following a honeymoon to Mexico, the couple are making their home in Cape Girardeau.
