EAST PRAIRIE -- Lillian Cora Harper, 86, died at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 25, 2005, in the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Jan. 31, 1919, in Steele, daughter of the late Elige Gilbert and Cora Melissa Debez' Pearson, she lived most of her life in Mississippi County and was of the Baptist belief.

On Dec. 12, 1936, at Stewarts Landing south of Portageville, she married Wade Thomas Harper who preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1964.

Two brothers also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: four sons, Albert Harper of Charleston, Delbert Harper and Philbert Harper of Sikeston and Herbert Harper of Moberly; four daughters, Wilma Counts of New Madrid, Wanda Counts of East Prairie and Colleen Hon and Wilsie Evans of Morehouse; one brother, Gilbert Pearson of Michigan; and 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-

grandchildren.

Visitation is at 6 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday with Martin Lucas officiating.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Robert Counts, Danny Counts, Mark Counts, Jason Counts, Henry Counts and Jim Evans.
