SIKESTON -- Alvin Redd, 43, died Oct. 25, 2005, at the Clearview Nursing Center.
Born July 31, 1962, in Sikeston, son of the late Leland and Betty Redd Baker, he lived his entire life in Sikeston where he was a 1981 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Chance Bratcher; and one sister, Doris Redd.
Survivors include: six brothers and four sisters-in-law, James Redd Sr. of Toledo, Ohio, Jessie and Mollye Redd and Wilbur Redd of Sikeston, Charles and Lisa Redd of Grand Prairie, Texas, Alfred and Dianne Redd of Greensboro, N.C., and Demeegee and Sandy Redd of Charleston; and four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Betty and Larry Williams and Patsy and Herschell Towsend of Sikeston, Janice and Laffette Hughes of Memphis, Tenn., and Joanne Redd of Houston, Texas.
Visitation is scheduled for 11 a.m. until time for services at noon Saturday at the Cornerstone Baptist Church with the Rev. L.J. Nabors, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
