Linda Garner

CEDAR PARK, Texas - Linda Louise Garner, 55, died at 7 p.m. March 25, 2006, at the Seton Medical Center in Austin.

Born Sept. 24, 1950, in Sikeston, Mo., the daughter of Thomas L. Hawkins of Austin and Johnnie Dale Hawkins of Pflugerville, she was a former member of the Morehouse, Mo., First General Baptist Church and was in human resources for the Accent Food Services of Austin.

On Sept. 20, 1975, she married Steven Michael Garner Sr., who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Steve Michael Jr. and Terra Garner of Sikeston; two daughters and one son-in-law, Melissa and Pete Eckhoff of Cedar Park, Texas and Nicole Garner of Sikeston; two brothers, Tom Hawkins and John Hawkins, both of Pflugerville; five sisters, Charlotte Emmons, Pam Maas and Jan Brown, all of Pflugerville, Sandi Morgan of Austin and Debbie Fromme of Elgin; and two grandchildren, Alex Eckhoff of Cedar Park and Steven Michael Garner III of Sikeston.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Randy Thomas, pastor of the Morehouse First General Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
