CHARLESTON -- Margie Rigney, 69, died Feb. 3, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Feb. 18, 1938, in Forrest City, Ark., to the late L.S. and Leora Sisk McCain, she was a member of Opportunity Church of God in Christ in Charleston.
She married Samuel L. Rigney who survives.
Other survivors include: eight sons and four daughters-in-law, Sammy L. and Cynthia Riggens Jr., Troy and Donna Riggens and Calvin Rigney and Gary Rigney of Charleston, Swayne and Roberta Rigney of Rome, Ga., Terry Rigney of Pacific, Tyrone and Elizabeth Rigney of Indianapolis and Sgt. Gyrome Rigney of Jacksonville, N.C.; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Brenda and Randall Hollis and Carolyn and Tommy Smith of Indianapolis, and Deborah Rigney, Amelia and Thomas Murray and Rita and Michael Spence of Charleston; two brothers, L.S. McCain Jr. and James McCain of Charleston; one sister, Stella Greer of Wyatt; and 34 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Opportunity Church of God in Christ with Steve Betts, pastor, officiating.
