DEXTER -- Sally Pauline Pugh, 90, died Jan. 19, 2008, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 13, 1917, at Piggott, Ark., to the late Robert L. and Ora Mae Cobb Lusk, she spent much of life in rural Bloomfield before moving to Dexter. She was a member of the Hill's General Baptist Church for more than 40 years and served as the church piano player.
On Feb. 1, 1936, she married Leo Alexander Pugh who preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1988.
Survivors include: one son, Tony Leo Pugh of Dexter; two daughters, Sally Janis Cooper of Dexter and Nancy Joann Jones of Omaha, Neb.; and five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Revs. Steve Tippen and Ryan Helton will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Lick Creek Cemetery near Bloomfield.
