CARUTHERSVILLE - Investigators recovered two weapons taken in an arson-

burglary and more items are expected to be recovered.

Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell said investigators found two of the three weapons stolen from the Martin residence in the early morning hours of March 7. The weapons were found Monday in a house located on County Highway 489, near Steele.

The weapons and other items were discovered missing following a March 7 fire at a residence located just west of Holland, Mo. Upon arrival deputies observed signs of possible forced entry and determined a burglary had occurred. The State Fire Marshal's office and Pemiscot County fire investigators ruled the fire was arson.

Two suspects are in custody in connection with the incident. They are charged with second degree burglary and felony stealing with additional charges pending according to the sheriff's department.
