SIKESTON -- Pamela Lynn Holland Alcorn and Robert Wayne Jones were united in marriage during a 6 p.m. ceremony Aug. 6, 2006, at a family home in Sikeston. Steven Palmer, elder of Community of Christ Church, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of the late Jerry and Virginia Holland. Parents of the bridegroom are Robert and Sharon Jones of Sikeston.
Given in marriage by the bridegroom's son, Cody Wayne Jones, the bride wore a blue satin and lace gown. Kay Lay of Bloomfield was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Kristin Alcorn and Skyluar Thompson, both of Sikeston. Marlin A. O'Neal of Vanduser served the bridegroom as best man.
A reception followed the ceremony. Wedding coordinators were Patricia McIntosh, Kathy King and Mark King, all of New Madrid and Sandra Giddens of Lilbourn. Dr. Matt Holstein of Sikeston was server.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Jones are making their home in Sikeston.
