WILSON CITY -- Leonds "L.S." Lane Jr., 71, died March 25, 2007, at the Charleston Manor Skilled Nursing Facility.

Born May 14, 1935, in Wyatt, son of the late Leonds and Millie Graham Lane, he was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Charleston and was a member of Sanders Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Wyatt.

On June 9, 1957, he married Ollie Lee Wade who survives of Richton Park, Ill.

Other survivors include: four sons and one daughter-in-law, Dennis and Lisa Lane of Wyatt, Anthony Lane and Terry Lane of Richton Park and Thomas "Lucky" Scott of Indianapolis; three daughters, Vanessa Harris and Carlis Lane of Forest Park, Ill., and Carolyn Wright of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Bonnie Heard of Wyatt and Glenda Briggs of Jefferson City; and 15 grandchildren and three great-

grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Lane.

Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston with the Rev. Debbie Thornton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
