ERIN, Tenn. - Buford Allen Williams, 75, formerly of Miner, Mo. died at 8:10 p.m. July 8, 2007, at Centennial Hospital in Nashville.

Born Oct. 31, 1931, in Caruthersville, Mo., to the late George and Maggie Brumley Williams, he was a press operator with Potlatch/Tetra Pak and a member of the paper industry union local. He served in the U.S. Navy and was of the Baptist belief.

On Aug. 2, 1959, in Miner, he married Raynette Ford, who preceded him in death on May 29, 1999.

Three brothers and four sisters also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff Williams and Deanna Kennedy of Clarksville; one sister, Nettie Hughes of Lamar, Ark.; two step grandchildren, Barbara Dobbs and Chad Coleman of Clarksville; three step great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Worthy Sinor of Erin.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Dennis Lowe, pastor of United Baptist Church in Benton, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
