SIKESTON -- Jeanetta Wray Monan, 74, died at 6:45 a.m. Sept. 1, 2007, at her daughter's home in Essex.
Born March 11, 1933, in Lamar, Ark., daughter of the late William Thomas and Vanda Harris Holland, she was a housewife. She was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.
On May 13, 1950, in Sikeston, she married Thomas H. Monan, who preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 1993.
Four brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas H. and Donna Monan of Niceville, Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Scott Brown of Essex and Teresa and Joseph Meyer of Sikeston; one sister, Ann Harr of Sikeston; and eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Pat Hogan, minister of Shady Acres Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Thomas Alcott, Thomas Masterson Jr., Joseph Meyer, Scott Brown, Jordan Masterson, Kenneth Brown, Michael Meyer and Hank Monan.
