PORTAGEVILLE - Irma Lee Dacus, 87, died Oct. 25, 2006, at the Portageville Nursing Center.
Born July 22, 1919, in Mantee, Miss., she was the daughter of the late John and Anne White Brown.
On Dec. 6, 1947, she married Cletis Dacus who preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 1996.
Also preceding her in death were one son, John Dacus; three brothers, Thomas Brown, Howard Brown and Harold Brown; and three sisters, Gray Brown, Ruth Green and Eva Crawford.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Cheri Dacus of Lapeer, Mich.; one daughter, Susan Dacus of Portageville; one brother, Robert Lee Brown of the state of Florida; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Dr. Buck Morton will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
