LILBOURN -- Charles "Woody" Rickman, 82, died Oct. 26, 2006, at Morehouse.
Born March 20, 1924, in Fisk, son of the late Fred Rickman and Mayme Gillihan Sanderson, he had worked for Neal Ross Farms before retiring.
On Nov. 5, 1951, he married Emma Sanderson who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Edward and Judy Rickman of Morehouse and Danny and Peggy Rickman of Redding, Calif.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carole and Kelly Slavings of Malden and Malinda and Lark Lewis of High Point, N.C.; one sister, Geraldine Glass of Tupelo, Miss.; and nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Cleo Rickman, Leo Rickman and Herschel Rickman; two sisters, Mary Day and Margie Farmer; and two grandsons, Steven Rickman and Brian Rickman.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Larry Lacey will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilbourn.
