The Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the following 2007 Rodeo Run sponsors: Randy's RX, SEMO Health Network, YMCA of Southeast Missouri, Foot and Ankle Centers of Southeast Missouri, Sterling Health Care Services, Ponder Funeral Home, Sikeston Rotary Club, Sikeston Imaging Center, Missouri Bootheel Regional Consortium Inc., Home Advantage, Health Facilities Rehab Services, Missouri Delta Medical Center Radiology Group and Dr. Mahmoud Ziaee, Pepsi, Allen Home Care Services, Coca Cola, Dr. Colleen Hunter-Pearson, Dr. Mowaffaq R. Said, Dr. Thomas Waltrip, Wal- Mart and RoadID.

Thanks to the Sikeston Parks Department and the Sikeston Department of Public Safety for their help in conducting this event. Thanks to all the Chamber volunteers who came out early that morning to support the 81 participants.

We had entries from the Southeast Missouri area, as well as Illinois and Ohio. We even had a group of 14 come in from Alabama to run the race and make a weekend trip out of it.

It was a lot of fun and we raised money for the chamber and for the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. Mark your calendar for next year's race on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at the Sikeston Sports Complex and to see pictures of some of our age group winners go to our Web site at www.sikeston.net.

We at the Chamber would like to congratulate the Sikeston Jaycees on another successful rodeo. It is our pleasure at SACC to promote this outstanding community event that not only brings tourist dollars into our business community, but benefits so many worthwhile charities with its proceeds. The Jaycees are to be commended for their continued dedication to this event that showcases the best of the Sikeston and Miner areas. Thank you Sikeston Jaycees for all you do.

Also congratulations to the Historic Midtown Development Group and the Sikeston Depot for another great Lunch with the Rodeo Clowns and Cowboy Up Festival your volunteers are outstanding.
