BARDWELL, Ky. -- Wilma Evans, 81, died at 11:50 a.m. Sept. 29, 2006, at Lourdes Hospital.
The daughter of the late Albert and Esther Ellen Minton Vinson, she was a housemother for handicapped women in Belleville and of the Pentecostal belief.
She first married Ernest W. Jones who preceded her in death. She later married James M. "Tubby" Evans who also preceded her in death.
Two brothers, Earl Vinson and Richard Vinson, and two sisters, Dorothy Calhoun and Murrel Burmann, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three brothers, Billy Joe Vinson of Sikeston, Mo., Ronald Jerry Vinson of Dexter, Mo., and Donald Terry Vinson of Cairo, Ill.; and one sister, Ruby Dillard of Henderson.
Services were held at 2 p.m. today at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Bardwell. The Rev. John Curtis officiated.
Burial followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Cunningham.
