CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Sikeston Bulldog wrestling team participated in the Cape Central Tiger Classic on Friday and Saturday. Gavilan Bland, a 160-pound junior, was the most decorated Bulldog with a 6 -1 record for a second-place finish in the highly regarded tournament. -1 record for a second-place finish in the highly regarded tournament. "Gavilan had a great tournament," said Sikeston coach Chris Crosby. "To finish second in the Tiger Classic is a great accomplishment for him."

Logan Berry went 2-5 for an eighth-place in the 140-pound class and junior heavyweight Robert Madison won four and lost three for ninth place.

Nick DeLaRosa placed 12th in the 112-pound division with a 3-4 mark.

Other Bulldog participants included Jordan Mays, 125-pound class, and Dan Dicus in the 145-pound class. Both went 0-4 in the tournament.
