SIKESTON - Richard S. Pinkerton, who has served as assistant manager to the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce for two years, has been named manager of the Sikeston Chamber of Commerce.

SIKESTON - H. Dennis Neal has been elected president and chief executive of Mercantile Bank of Sikeston, the bank's board of directors has announced. Neal, also elected a director in the local bank, has more than 24 years experience in banking.

SIKESTON - John R. Grimsley, manager of the Missouri Division of Employment Security local office at Caruthersville since May 1983, has been appointed manager of the agency's local office at Sikeston.

SIKESTON - Each year at Christmas, Brenda Munger, foods instructor at Sikeston Senior High School, and her students plan a tea for parents, faculty, staff, her students, central office staff and the advisory committee. All food is prepared by the students to test their food preparation techniques they've learned throughout the semester.

SIKESTON - A dedication service for a new Family Life Center at Powerhouse Church of God will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in honor of the late Freida Chambers Moxley, who was a charter member of the church. Plans are to use the facility for a day care, classrooms for Sunday school and Bible college, dinner theater and recreation hall.
