CHARLESTON - Clariece Vance "Jackie" Williams, 71, died May 23, 2007, at her home.
Born Jan. 4, 1936, in Humboldt, Tenn., to the late William Houston and Mattie Lou Lowery Vance Sr., she was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
She was married to Isaiah Williams, who preceded her in death.
One son, one brother and one sister also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons, James Williams and Robert Williams; six daughters and one son-in-law, Ethar Ellis, Linda and Jessie Hubert of Rock Island, Ill., Lena Williams of St. Louis, Cynthia Ellis Bryant, Annie Williams and Elizabeth Williams of Charleston; one brother, William Huston Vance Jr.; one sister, Ruth Vance Victory; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-
grandchildren.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Opportunity Church of God in Christ in Charleston with Elder Steve Betts, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
Williams Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
