SIKESTON - Roger Lee Winfield, 51, died May 26, 2007, of an apparent gunshot wound.
Born May 2, 1956, in Leflore, Miss., he was the son of the late Willie Jackson and Erma G. Campbell.
Survivors include: one son, Roger Lee Winfield Jr. of Detroit; five sisters, Barbara Winfield and Willie M. Taylor of Sikeston, Oranell Maben of Springfield, Wandnett Keeler of New York City and Vicky Keeler of Rochester, N.Y.; five brothers, Andy Keeler, Jerry Keeler and Ollie Earl Keeler of Buffalo, N.Y., Frankie Hayes of Sikeston and Tommy Winfield of the state of Arkansas; his stepfather, Ollie Keeler of Sikeston; and four stepchildren, Oscar Shannon Jr., Jessie Shannon and Delcinia Shannon of Springfield and Nicole Shannon of Sikeston.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jean Winfield, and two brothers, Larry Dickson and Steve Keeler.
Visitation is from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Friday at the Freewill Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with Victor Williams, pastor, officiating.
