DEXTER - Connie Cheryl Watson, daughter of George and Joy Watson, of Dexter, was born on Sept. 25, 1946, in Malden, and departed this life on March 16, 2008 at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter at the age of 61.
Connie was a member of the Bernie Church of Christ. She enjoyed attending the ARC Day Activity Center for many years. During her 61 years of life, she was loved and endeared by everyone that knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by: two brothers, Marty Watson of Malden and Joe Watson and wife, Sharlette, of Dexter; one sister, Kim Watson Harrington and husband, Mark, of Lake Mary, Fla.; five nephews, Jimmy Wayne Watson of Noble, Okla., Jarrod Watson and wife, Lia, and Kyle Watson and wife, Beth, all of Nashville, Tenn., Ryan Harrington and Connor Harrington both of Lake Mary.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Ruth Watson and Charlie and Jewell Byrd.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Stan Dauck officiating.
Burial will follow in the Malden Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden. - - -
