BLOOMFIELD -- Veda Delores Teets, 83, died May 2, 2007, at the Heartland Care and Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born April 10, 1924, at Essex, the daughter of the late Cleveland and Edna Bledsoe DeJournett, she was a homemaker and a member of Apostolic House of Prayer in Bell City.
On Oct. 28, 1941, at Ardeola, she married D. Harding Teets who preceded her in death on June 16, 2003.
She was also preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
Survivors include: four sons, Eldon Teets of Mt. Clemens, Mich., Dennis Teets of Puxico, Stanley Teets of Dexter and Randy Teets of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Brenda Schatz, Zelma McTurnan and Gwen Shirrell of Advance and Karen Light of Oran; one brother, Alvin DeJournett of Advance; one sister, Thelma Burchett of Warren, Mich.; and 22 grandchildren and 53 great-
grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday with Sue Wilborn officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
