MORLEY - Vida Esther Henson, 94, died at 5:10 a.m. April 2, 2006, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.
Born March 29, 1912, in Gatewood, daughter of the late Wiley Benjamin and Zilpha J. Pulliam Holland, she had worked in retail sales at a men's store. She was a member of the Morley Church of God and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Morley.
On Jan. 6, 1937, in Los Angeles, she married Jesse B. Henson who preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 1985.
Three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving is one daughter, Gail Hubbell of Santa Barbara, Calif.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Morley Church of God with the Rev. Mike Worrell officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morley with Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton in charge of arrangements.
