BERTRAND -- Eva M. Primm, 76, formerly of Johnston City, Ill., died at 7:07 p.m. Aug. 9, 2007, at her family home.
Born March 6, 1931, in Centerville, daughter of the late William Thomas and Elma Kirkendall Shubert, she had retired from Allen Industries. She was of the Baptist belief.
On June 19, 1948, she married Jack Primm, who preceded her in death on July 30, 1990.
Also preceding her in death were: one daughter, Beverly Sharpin; three sisters, Surilda Henson, Margaret McAnelly and Fay Shubert; and two brothers, Marion Earl Shubert and Raymond Shubert.
Survivors include: three children, Jerry Primm of Bertrand, Shelby White of Raleigh, N.C. and James Primm of Chester; one brother, James Shubert of Johnston City; two sisters, Wilma Harris of Johnston City and Melba Brauninger of Royalton, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held today at the Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with the Rev. Steve Vestor officiating.
Burial followed in the Lakeview Cemetery.
McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston was in charge of local arrangements.
