SIKESTON - Frances Lavern Greenlee, 72, died at 12:01 p.m. July 11, 2006, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 27, 1933, in Bloomfield, to the late Charlie Cecil and Vivian Melba Reynolds Park, she was a 1951 graduate of Matthews High School. For 27 years she was a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell and she was of the Baptist faith.
On Oct. 18, 1952, she was united in marriage to Jessie Lorin Greenlee, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Kenneth Greenlee of Sikeston; two sisters, Marjorie Atkins of St. James and Vera Ray of Detroit; one nephew; three nieces; and a special friend, Barbara Ayers of Sikeston.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Dan Chaney of Marble Hill will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
