WATER VALLEY, Miss. -- Freda Mae Leech Farmer, 71, formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died at 8:15 a.m. Jan. 13, 2008, at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Born March 19, 1936, in East Prairie, to the late Dave and Agnes O'Connor Leech, she had lived the past 12 years in Water Valley where she was a member of the Sylva Rena Baptist Church.
On March 23, 1979, in Memphis, she married Oscar Calvin Farmer who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and David Carter of San Bernadino, Calif., and Vicke and Jerry Musto, Twila and Derek Curtice and Leecie and Steve Butler of Memphis; one stepson, Van Farmer of Bertrand; one sister, Dorsie Bradley of East Prairie; and 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Two brothers, Joe Dave Leech and Jerry Dale Leech, preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery. Calvin Miller will officiate.
