Billy Casey
SIKESTON - Billy D. Casey, 76, died at 11:33 p.m. Jan. 28, 2007, at his home.
Born March 11, 1930, at Mize, Miss., son of the late J.O. and Pearl Fitzpatrick Casey, he was a self-employed carpenter and painter. He was a former member of Christ Gospel Church and a present member of Harbor Light Christian Center. A musician, he had played piano, banjo, guitar and fiddle with gospel and country groups.
Survivors include: his wife, Lula Evelyn Bohnert of the home; four sons, Darrell Casey and David Casey of Charleston and Charles Lewis and Earl Bohnert of Sikeston; two daughters, LaDonna Hequembourg of Charleston and Evelyn Aldridge of Atoka, Tenn.; two brothers, Jimmy Casey of Sikeston and Lynn Casey of Advance; four sisters, Naomi Parr of Morehouse, Audie Griggs of Sikeston, Reba Staggs of the state of California and Elizabeth Casey of East Prairie; and 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Randy Casey, and two brothers, two sisters and one grandson.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Dr. James Beaird of the Harbor Light Christian Center will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Allen Shaw, Ben Shaw, Randy Casey, Eric Looney, Scott Hequembourg and Michael Ramsey.
